On January
1, 2004 Ryan Skalla “burned his bridges” in
the tech industry to give his full attention to real estate investing
after having accidentally read ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’.
Numerous flips and piles of cash later, Ryan’s now in Estate
Building Mode - keeping anything that makes sense using the creative
methods he’s learned from great educators such as Jack Miller,
Peter Fortunato, Mike Cantu, Clyde Wilson, and others.
Inspired by the generosity of such mentors, Ryan now gives back
to the investor community through his involvement in SoCal
REIA and private consultations with struggling newbies.
Ryan’s favorite method for buying real estate is “subject
to” transactions and seller financing – anything
that doesn’t involve going to the bank.
