Unemployed
and searching for a programming job online, Aaron overheard Oprah
Winfrey interveiwing Robert Kiyosaki on her television program.
Holding a fresh degree in computer science and recently arriving
in Orange County just after the tech bubble burst, prospects
of employment seemed bleak. Figuring Oprah put her reputation
on the line by having this real estate investing guru on her
show, he thought the book may be worth a read.
Borrowing money from his relatives, within a few months he
purchased his first property and moved into it. From renting
at $1,600 per month to owning at $1,500 per month, he decided
real estate investing was the right choice for him. Aaron immediately
set out to add to his portfolio and has since acquired properties
in four states owning everything from mobile homes to small
apartment buildings. He has purchased property at the court
house steps, used hard & private money, and now specializes
in buying subject to and purchase money financing. A full time
investor, he buys and sells several properties each year profiting
$50,000 or more on each deal and keeping a few a long the way.
As a full time investor and having gone through the gaunlet
of gurus, dream merchants and ridiculously overpriced seminars,
he knows the frustation real estate investors go through seeking
out reasonable priced quality education. To counter this he
now hosts the Creative Investors Happy Hour Free Conference
Call each Friday from 4~5PM. He also speaks at several investing
clubs each year, hosts the Southern California Real Estate
Investors Assocation monthly meeting and actively posts on
Facebook.
